Church Alliance (English Version)

Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and upon confession of our sins, having been baptized in the presence of God, of the Angels and of this Assembly, solemnly and joyfully we make the following commitment as a body in Christ:
We commit ourselves, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in a spirit of Christian charity, to strive for the advancement of this Church in wisdom, holiness and consolation, to increase her property and her spirituality, to support its worship, its ordinances, its discipline and its doctrines, to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the maintenance of its ministers, at the expense of the Church, to the relief of the poor and to the propagation of the Gospel among all nations.
We also commit ourselves to maintain family worship and prayer in secret: to bring up our children in a Christian way; to work for the salvation of our parents and our neighbors; to walk with circumspection in the world; to be fair in our relationships, faithful to our commitments and to be examples of good behavior; to avoid and shun all siding, intoxicating beverages, and tobacco, and to be zealous in our efforts for the advancement of the kingdom of God.
We commit ourselves, in other, to watch over each other with fraternal charity to us We commit ourselves, in the other, to watch over each other with fraternal charity; to remember one another in our prayers, to help one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in our feelings and politeness in our speeches; to be slow to formalize ourselves (in case of offense) to be always ready for reconciliation; to submit to our Lord’s regulations without delay.
We commit ourselves, moreover, in the event of displacement of the place of our residence to unite as soon as possible with another Church where we can act in the spirit of this pact, and according to the principles of the word of God.
